How To Remove Build-Up and Fix Bent Lashes:

1. Find all your supplies

Supplies to clean your old strip lashes:

  • Micellar water or oil-based makeup remover Tweezer or Spoolie
  • Supplies to unbend your old strip lashes: A Bowl
  • Water

2. Use makeup remover suitable for the eyes

Saturate your lashes with the makeup remover and make sure that the old build-up is softening. When the dirt is soft, it’s time to find your tweezers or spoolie. Note: if you’re using an oil-based makeup remover, make sure to follow all the following steps. If you’re using a makeup remover without oil, feel free to skip step 4.

3. Peel off any dirt

Find a pair of tweezers or a spoolie and make sure that your chosen tool is clean. The cleanliness of the tools is quite important for sanitary reasons, but also to make the cleaning process easier. Use the tool and manually remove all remnants of dead skin or old makeup. This step ensures that your lashes look fresh and stick better to your eyes when later re-applied with lash glue.

4. Hack for bent lashes

Start this hack by boiling some water. While waiting for the water to reach temperature, Place your old falsies in the bowl. Finally, pour boiling water over the lashes and let them sit in the hot water for a couple of minutes and make sure to let the lashes completely dry before your next use. This hack should return your lash band to its original shape and helps in sanitizing them. Note: this hack is only suitable for synthetic lashes

After following these quick and easy steps, you should be able to reuse your lashes multiple times without worrying about the heavy look and feel of old glue build-up. Let us know about your phenomenal results from trying our tips!
